Victoria + Olivier | Orange Art Gallery Ottawa
I shot Victoria + Olivier's non traditional wedding last August at the Orange Art Gallery. They had so many unique attributes to their day. They had bag pipes and the family band play during the ceremony. Victoria told me when we talked on the phone that they were most interested in photos with and of family and friends who are dear to them. They had a quick ceremony and an even quicker time allotted for scheduled photos. Then they had a buffet style dinner followed by speeches and opening up the dance floor.
The Orange Gallery is such a beautiful space for a wedding. I hadn't heard of it before, but it was one of my favourite wedding locations to shoot so far. It's the perfect place to do something out of the ordinary.
Looking back on this wedding has me dreaming about this upcoming wedding season and all the gorgeous locations I'm going to get to shoot..and allll the warm sunny days. Hopefully they will be coming to Ottawa sooner than later. I'm writing this blog post from a hotel room on the Palm Coast of Florida, it's going to be 27º on Friday. I can hardly waaaait. And I'm not so secretly hoping that spring will have hit Ottawa in FULL force by the time I get home. I've had enough of winter. I'm ready for a tan.
