Yes, absolutely! If your dog is part of your family, they’re more than welcome to join in your elopement. Many of the outdoor locations in Banff National Park are dog-friendly, and I’d be happy to help you find the best places where your furry friend can join the celebration.


Keep in mind that there are some regulations to follow when bringing pets into the park, such as keeping them on a leash and ensuring they stay safe in more rugged areas. If you’re planning a helicopter elopement, some companies allow dogs to join, but there may be specific weight limits or additional fees.

To have a peaceful and private elopement experience in Banff, timing and location are key. Here are a few tips to help you avoid the crowds:


– Choose Sunrise or Sunset: As mentioned, these are the best times for softer light and fewer people. Sunrise tends to be quieter, especially at popular spots like Moraine Lake, as most tourists arrive later in the day. If you’re aiming for sunset, choose more secluded locations or plan for an earlier time to avoid the bulk of the crowds.
– Eloping on Weekdays: Weekdays, especially Monday through Thursday, are quieter than weekends. If you have flexibility in your schedule, this can make a big difference in avoiding the busiest times.
– Consider Off-Peak Seasons: Visiting Banff in the shoulder seasons (spring and fall) can mean fewer tourists. Summer and winter attract large crowds, so planning your elopement for early spring or late fall can lead to a more intimate experience with less foot traffic.

– 4 hours is perfect if you want one beautiful location for your ceremony and portraits.
– 6 hours allows time for getting-ready moments or exploring an additional nearby location.
– 8-10 hours gives you space to slow down, enjoy the day, visit multiple lakes or viewpoints, and capture everything from getting ready to a celebration afterward.


No matter the package you choose, you get full planning support, location suggestions, permit guidance, timelines, and a stress-free experience so your day feels easy and intentional.

You can bring up to 20 people, including all vendors. However, I recommend not having guests with you the entire day. Keeping part of the day just for the two of you allows for more intimate, relaxed moments where you can truly connect without distractions. This also gives us the flexibility to explore different locations and capture more candid, meaningful photos.

Absolutely! You can visit as many locations as your package time allows. Banff is full of stunning lakes, viewpoints, and easy-to-access spots, but travel times can vary. Most lakes and viewpoints are 15–45 minutes apart, and I help you build a timeline that takes crowds, weather, and lighting into account. I’ll guide you to the best combination of locations for your vision and the season so we can make the most of your time and keep everything relaxed and seamless.

That’s completely okay—most of my couples feel the same way at first! My approach is all about creating a relaxed, natural environment where you can just focus on each other. I’ll gently guide you with simple prompts instead of stiff poses, helping you feel comfortable and connected. It’s less about “performing” for the camera and more about capturing authentic moments between you. You don’t need to worry about being perfect—I’m here to document your real connection, exactly as you are.
