THREE NAILS WORKSHOP | Shreveport, Louisiana
I have been the biggest fan of Three Nails Photography & Hunter Leone since he shot a friends wedding and they ended up in Style Me Pretty. That was a long time ago. I've wanted to go to one of his photography workshops since then.
In February of this year I finally decided to go to a Three Nails Workshop. My dad volunteered to go with me, so we road tripped down to Shreveport, Louisiana for the workshop. Roundtrip it was about 5,500 km and what felt like a million hours on the road. But I really enjoyed the time with my dad and the stops along the way were the best parts.
The workshop was set up as Gatsby themed wedding. I learned so much and met the sweetest people. Hunter is so friendly and open about his process as a photographer and how he edits. It was really insightful to learn from a majorly successful wedding photographer. The workshop was really fun too (and we had great snacks!). The workshop I attended had a smaller number of people attending which was great because we all got to take our time with each different set and the models. Let me just talk about the models for a second..they were AMAZING! They looked like they walked right out of the 1920's!! They held uncomfortable poses while we all took turns shooting and didn't complain even a little bit. They handled it so well.
I would 100% recommend going to a Three Nails Workshop. There's always something new to learn. Learning never stops. Here are some of the photos from the workshop. I hope you enjoy and feel like you've been transported back to the 1920's for a few minutes!
The sets were styled and created by Hunter Leone, they're his vision come to life. I took these photos but all the credit goes to Hunter for the creativity and bringing it all together, sets, models, clothing, hair & make up.
